Last weekend, United We Can Vol.2 came to life once again! Hosted by the incredible community of Olympus Village, this special music event was organized in support of CharitySL.nl and KiKa, bringing together music lovers, friends, and generous hearts for a wonderful cause.
We caught up with Philip, one of the driving forces behind the event, to talk about what made this edition so special.
Philip, congratulations on another successful United We Can event! How did the preparations begin?
Philip:
“Preparations started about a month ago. We worked on organizing the DJs, hosts, and the schedule. Like every event, we had some wins and some losses along the way, but we kept pushing through. Me, Katerina, and everyone who helped organize it want to thank every single person involved, because nothing could have happened without all of you.”
How did you feel when the event finally started?
Philip:
“To be honest, I didn’t expect what I see now on the board. I am excited, happy, and proud once again of my team. It gives us the drive to do even better for the next one.”
And that excitement was easy to feel.
From the very first hours, Philip was already awake and full of enthusiasm. Throughout the weekend, visitors enjoyed an incredible variety of music. DJs treated everyone to everything from dance classics to traditional Greek music, creating an atmosphere where people couldn’t help but dance, laugh, and celebrate together.
During several DJ sets, visitors were also surprised with generous sponsored gifts, adding even more excitement to the festivities.
Looking back, what makes you the proudest?
Philip:
“We are proud and happy with the amount of donations and already looking forward to United We Can Vol.3.”
One thing that immediately stands out is the incredible bond within the Olympus Village team. It isn’t just an event organization—it feels like a family. Everyone supports one another, works together seamlessly, and gives far more than 100% to make these weekends unforgettable.
